Festival Choir with Cath King
Cath King’s festival choir was a great success last year with daily sessions and a performance on the last day so we’re delighted that she has agreed to run it again this summer. Cath will be giving her time voluntarily to bring participants harmony and fun with some new Scottish songs to build on last year’s repertoire. No singing experience is required.
Cath has led the Women in the Highlands Choir, Alive & Singing for the Highland Drug & Alcohol Partnership and a singing group for Parkinson's UK. Choir performances include a Celebration of 100 Years of Votes for Women, The Word on the Street Festival and the National Recovery Walk.
Cath and husband John live in the Highlands of Scotland but spend summers in Central Otago where they have family. They have become regular attendees at Whare Flat.
