Exquisitely crafted songs, glorious harmonies and a captivating stage presence will leave Sadie & Jay indelibly echoing in your musical memory. Their contemporary folk music is tinged in blues and roots and leans to the alternative. You will be drawn into their creative world from lively rag-time blues and comical ditties to compelling epic tales and ballads.
Three original studio albums feature several high profile musicians. They are multiple first place winners and finalists in APRA AMCOS awards, Blues & Roots Radio, The Australian Songwriters Association Awards and The Australian Celtic Awards. Their third album 'A Passing of Seasons' was awarded the Australian Celtic Album of the Year 2020.
Originating in Brisbane, Sadie & Jay's distinctive sound has travelled across Australia, the UK and New Zealand. North Island venues and clubs have welcomed Sadie & Jay whole-heartedly with main stage performances at Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton Folk Festivals. Whare Flat Folk Festival is their debut South Island performance.

Collaborative Songwriting
An intimate performance and an interactive discussion on how to maximise each other’s strengths when writing songs in partnership. We aim to encourage & inspire those interested in songwriting with partners. We love to hear feedback that songs are in the making after one of our workshops.
