Lara Rose is a Dunedin-based singer songwriter. She has established her style of indie-folk, using writing to reflect on aspects of her own experiences. Recently, she toured the nation as one half of the folk duo Tall Folk. In January 2022 they released their debut album ‘Wiser’, recorded at Port Chalmer’s Chick’s Hotel and brought to life by Dunedin’s most talented musicians. Lara will be supported by this epic line up consisting of Craig Monk (violin), John Egenes (pedal steel and mandolin), John Dodd (double bass) and Ryan Finnie (drums and percussion). Collectively, Lara Rose and Her Band will perform both her writings from this album as well as new works.
