Tessa White and Jonathan Le Cocq play a unique blend of music for violin, guitar and mandolin that ranges from Irish, Scottish, Canadian and French traditional music, to intricate jazz and country-inflected finger style, to hard-to-classify originals. Recent appearances include the Christchurch and Dunedin Folk Clubs, Nut Point Gallery, and the Cardrona Festival, where Tessa was the youngest guest artist to date. They are also regular visitors to Whare Flat, appearing amongst the festival picks when Tessa is not busy working on the sound crew.

Jonathan's background in early music – most recently performing in OrphEus, a dance opera in the Auckland and Wellington Festivals – informs his approach to playing traditional music, and combines with Tessa's youthful, virtuosic tune-playing for some original and dynamic music making.
